Advice on getting a laptop/netbook?

I am going to start working soon and am going to be teaching. I will be teaching 2 kids who are being home schooled. I was thinking that I should really get a laptop, for when they are doing their work. I will mainly be using the laptop for writing reports, surfing the web, checking mail. That kind of thing. I really like netbook, because of the size. They are small, discreet and cute lol. But what would be more suitable? Where can i get them for a good price but reliable? All advice much appreciated! Can people please help- financial auto advice urgent?

I have a 2007 Nissan Sentra. I bought it brand new 2008 for 12,000

after 2 years of making payments of $350 a month, I became default because I didn’t have a job for a year.

Now I have a staffing job (very low pay) and owe 12,000. So basically I’m starting from ground zero.

My car is out for repo. But the company is offering a chance to sell the car @ Carmax and then write off the account so I won’t have to pay anything. THis deal will be good only for this month. But then I’d be left with NO CAR! But I was thinking to buy my new car with CASH. A good reliable car with my tax return and money from the new job.

Please help- I HATE debt, and this is a huge burden. Some people say keep the car. Other say just get rid of it and buy a cheap reliable car. Please help- I need opinions, advice.

Basically i am a self employed DJ and i love my job, however i am 27 now and know that this career cannot last forever and with the current climate there is a huge risk of loosing my regular nights. So i would like to get myself a regular reliable job. But i don’t have that good qualifications or experience in much else as i went straight into the nightclub/DJ industry when i left school. I have GCSEs (C-E)

Social work/working with children/teaching appeals to me but as i have no experience or qualifactions in these im not really sure what to do!

I just got an iphone and an otterbox case to protect it. I love the case (and the phone) but I hate the weird bubbles that show up under the screen protector. My iPod Touch was synced in with my computer which had about 2000 songs on it and my computer was wiped, and as I downloaded them all I didn’t have any on CD I couldn’t recover any of it.
