24 Carrot Island Cheats and Walkthrough

24 Carrot Island is a challenging early island quest in Poptropica where you mus assist the townspeople and help discover what happened to all of their carrots. This adventure will take you deep into the secret lair of the evil Dr. Hare, who has secretly stolen all the carrots for a nefarious plan. You can complete the entire quest easily if you follow all the steps in this 24 Carrot Island Walkthrough.

Main Street and Carrot Farm

You’ll arrive on 24 Carrot Island by balloon, just like you do with any island in the game. Immediately head to the left and go to the Carrot Farm. Ignore the farmer and go into the house next to him through the chimney. When you get inside the house, go to the right past the couch and you’ll get an empty bowl. Leave the house the same way you came in, through the chimney. Head to the right to return to Main Street. Go to the right and then head inside the Carrot King Diner. Talk to the waitress right by the door and ask her to fill your bowl with milk. Now that you have a bowl full of milk, return to the Carrot Farm and then go back into the house through the chimney once again.

Walk a few steps to the right. When you pass the place where you found the empty bowl, you will bend down and place the full bowl on the floor. Head all the way to the right and then go up to the second floor. Walk to the left until you reach the tub at the far end. Turn on the water. A little cat will leap out from the tub. Walk slowly behind him to “chase” him downstairs and then follow him there. The cat will spy the bowl of milk that you placed on the floor and will drink from it. Now he’s your friend for life and will follow you anywhere. Leave the farmhouse and then go back to Main Street.

Walk all the way to the right until you arrive at Charlie’s store. Walk to the right and talk to the woman standing next to the counter wearing the apron. Talk with the woman and she’ll give you a crowbar as a reward for finding her lost cat.

Leave the store and go to the right. Go to the next area, called the Factory. When you get there, keep running to the right. Leap up onto the roof to find the vent blueprint. You don’t really need it but it can help you navigate the vents inside the factory if you get a little lost. Go down the other side of the factory and you’ll find a passage with a grate on it. Click on the grate covering the pipe. You’ll use the crowbar to open it up. Then go inside.

Going Inside the Factory

Run left through the pipe and pick up the Carrot Transporter. You won’t really need this either, but it’s cool to have. Head up the left side of the pipe and then run right back over the valves as they close. The basic technique to getting past this part is to be pretty patient and stand at the edge. Start running just as they’re closing and do one at a time. Some of the valves will open and close more quickly than the others so watch out!

In the next section, you’ll come across a big old rat. To avoid him, jump up into the section of pipe above your head. You can go down the other side and keep going left. Go up through the top and you’ll arrive in a dark room.

The Factory

Machine Room

Run over to the left and stand in front of the Master Engine panel. You’ll see three levers on the engine, all of which are in the up position. Adjust the lever on the left side so that it is halfway between down and up. You will see that the green light over the lever will illuminate. Repeat this process with both the middle and the right levers. Once you have all three levers in the correct positions, the main lights in the room turn on and the engine begins to move.

Go to the right of the room and get up onto the boxes. Next get up to the left onto the platform and then on top of the barrels. Next leap up onto the mechanical arm as it passes by. When you arrive at the platform on the right, leap off and go into the open vent.

Vent

The vent is a series of dark passageways that connect different rooms inside the Factory. If you get lost inside the vent, you can use the blueprint you found on the roof of the factory. Head down and to the left and keep going until you see part of the passageway that is covered in ice. Go through the icy passageway and back down the other side You’ll quickly come to where there is a pair of wire cutters on the ground. Run over them to pick them up. Keep going down and to the right and you will arrive at another grate in the vent. Click on the grate to go through to the next room.

Security System

When you enter the room, you’ll see a security system sign and it’s enabled. Drop down onto the floor of this room. A security robot will fly in and zap you. You’ll turn white and disappear and then emerge in a refrigerated room. Over to the right is a panel labeled Security System. Click on that to use the wire cutters. Cut all three wires red, green and yellow to disable the system. Now go to the right and jump up to the top where there is a grate you can exit to go back into the Vent.

Packing Room

Jump up and go inside the vent. Then head up and to the right. Soon you’ll arrive next to another grate. Go inside and you’ll be in another room of the factory where the carrots are put in crates. The first obstacle you’ll face in here are chutes with crates of carrots that drop through. To get past this part, you need to wait at the edge of the chutes and wait for the crates to pause. Then run to the next one. The crates come in groups of different numbers. It’s not too difficult to determine the patterns if you are patient as you go past. Go to the right and jump down onto the factory floor. Then go left.

Talk to the woman wearing the rabbit ears and glasses and tell her to look behind her You’ll see a close-up of the top of the rabbit ears. Click the button on the ears and the hypnotic power will be disabled. The woman will retrieve a printout that gives you a password. Next go to the left and return to the grate that you entered the room from. Click on it to go back into the vents.

Return to the Security Robot Room

OK now you want to head back to the same place you were in before where the security robot zapped you so use your vent blueprint if you need to and get back to that same entrance and go inside.

You can proceed safely through this room because you disabled the security system. Go to the bottom right where you see a doorway and a sign that says, “Authorized Bunny Drones Only.” You’re not an authorized bunny drone so you’ll fall through a trap door that appears when you try to pass through the door. That’s ok, we’re about to take care of that. When you fall through the trap door, you’ll arrive in a brand-new room. Jump down to the left and you will land on a conveyer belt. Head to the right and be careful to avoid the giant presses that come crashing down or you will get squashed. There’s also some hot carrot juice that comes out that will burn you if you get hit. After you avoid these obstacles, leap up onto the platform and you’ll spot a mechanical bunny ears hat just like the girl in the other room was wearing. Pick it up to put it in your backpack. Go ahead and put them on now and then go through the Exit.

You’ll arrive back in the room that had the security robot and the trap door. Go back to the large security door. Now that you’re wearing the ears, you’ll be able to pass through.

The Villain Dr. Hare

You’ll be standing next to Dr. Hare. He thinks you’re one of his drones and tells you to start the launch sequence for his big spaceship. Leap up onto the rocket. You’ll see a big platform on the right. It has a computer and there is a technician standing next to it. He’s wearing the drone ears. Talk to him and choose the option, “Look a giant bunny!” The screen will change to a close up of the back of the ears he’s wearing. Press the power button to turn them off. Then click on the computer and enter the password, which is fuzzybunny. It will then ask you to enter a command. The command is on post-it note attached to the computer and it is launch rabbot. Remember to spell it with an o and not an i. The Rabbot is the giant spaceship robot that Dr. Hare has built.

Next, the rocket will launch and you can control it using the computer. Now you want to try and crash the spaceship by moving it into the path of the oncoming asteroids. Each time you hit one, Dr. Hare will yell at you. After you hit four asteroids, the robot spaceship will explode and Dr. Hare will fly off into space. You just stopped Dr. Hare’s evil plot. Great job!

You’ll be back in the main area standing in front of the gas station, but now 24 Carrot Island is bright and colorful again. Go all the way to the left and talk to the mayor. He will thank you and give you a medallion for saving the town. Congratulations, you beat 24 Carrot Island!
